I always find it odd how the US pace thread is generally quite positive, but then when the same season starts airing in the UK, the BBC3 pace thread is full of people ripping it to shreds.
I watched it at US pace and enjoyed it for the most part. There were the odd duff episodes, as there are in every season, but mostly it was good (imo).
I thought Season 11 was a big comeback for the show. Season 1-5 are amazing. Season 6 and 7 were ok. But for me it went downhill in season 8 and 9. Then it made a slow rise in Season 10 and I found season 11 to be on par with the early seasons.
I just wish they would drop the Fighting chicken gag, that's my only moan.
"'As soon as Dan opened his mouth with his first Homer line, there was a wave of applause,' Appel said of the first script read-through. '[And] there may or may not be a 5-minute Chicken fight between Peter and Homer!'"

I haven't found the new episodes particularly funny. Thinking about it though, having really only got into Family Guy earlier this year, I've been watching "new" (to me) episodes whenever they're on, so have probably overdone it for myself!
Why did you put it as a spoiler when it was already shown last night? It was very funny and very clever. The reverse puking was hilarious also.
There might be somebody watching the repeat on Friday who hasn't seen it yet. Putting it in spoilers doesn't hurt anybody.
I too thought the puking was even better than the first time round. I think given it was the 200th and there was so much scope for revisiting old episodes they could have made this into a double length one.

It's a shame because seasons 1-5 was really good.

Last night they found out Quagmire wore a toupee and Mr. Pewterschmidt had a cure for cancer.
I've just checked and it's the 3rd episode of season 11 called The Old Man and the Big 'C'.

Anyway, we also have the Simpsons crossover episode to look forward to.
They do two/three a season. There is one coming up this season when it's done in reverse.
You're right. It's not as many as 2-3 per season. There's only been 4 in total so far.
Woo hoo!! Why you little....!!!!!
Sounds brilliant. Can't wait.
