Have you made a will & what do you want on your headstone?

I made a will a few days ago I wondered if most of you had too? I put on my will that I want a headstone saying "Like sands through the hourglass so are the days of our lives. Live a life you will remember." Have any of you specified what you would like your headstone to say?

I left everything to my parents, some money to the cat & dog home and the pensioners luncheon club. I want buried in an American coffin.

I know this isn't a cheery thread but I think death should be openly discussed more as it is something we will all face.

Here lies Edmund Blackadder, and he's bloody annoyed :D

Im being cremated so no need to worry about what the headstone says

Doubt i will have anything significant to leave so no need for a will, whatever is in my bank account my family can have

"Debenhams still probably have a sale on if you're interested"
This should be a safe bet for the next 60 years.

Yes, we have made a joint will and no, I'm not going to tell anybody what's in it.

I don't think I could come up with anything as classic as Spike Milligan's "See, I told you I wasn't feeling very well." I've not given any thought to it to be honest, but it might go something along the lines of:

"I knew this was going to happen"

    or how about

"Leave a message but don't expect me to call you back."

"Actually, this isn't so bad once you get used to it."

Spike Millagan? sure someone told me that recently and it had to be in Latin as the cemetery would not allow it...

I was just going to say that. I think this inscription would be far more appropriate for some on here. ;-)

I dont have a will because I don't have anything. Physical possessions can go to my daughter or husband. I'm not too bothered about a headstone, I want to be cremated and have my son's ashes buried with mine.

My husband and I have both prepared our (separate) wills.

Given that I am set to be buried in a tacky suburb I loathe, I'd like my headstone to read, "And I'd always said that I wouldn't be caught dead here."

Joint Will, both want to be cremated, we have two children, both to get half of everything that is left. Don't waste money on a headstone, they can do whatever they like with our ashes.
