I think Tham, as he seems genuinely to have grown as a dancer, as well as become more accessible than he used to in terms of personality. Also, Simon is clearly not popular with the public so I'd put him out of his misery early. If he is now a regular fixture in the DO it will just feel painful to watch him at all times (and I actually like and have voted for him in the past).
As much as I love Thom and wanted him to stay I think Simon was slightly better
Thom isn't as good as Steve, Simon, Mark or Jake but certainly better than Scott who should have gone in Week 1 >:(:(>:(
Thom as Simon has been already been in the bottom and saved .
Latin V ballroom ....ballroom easier to perform imo .
I also don't like Simon ,he has one giant ego .
The judges are supposed to judge on the dancing, not on whose personality they like the best. Simon was clearly better in the dance off IMO and deserved to be saved.
Simon, he is a better dancer. However, this has spoilt the series for me. Iveta is my favourite female pro and Thom was good enough to warrant at least three more weeks.. This sort of nonsensical dance off is not without precedent unfortunately.

I'm not interested in anybody's personality or lack of one.
;-)
Me too - I think if I were head judge I would have abstained. Don't think it is in the rules that you 'can't' abstain.
Think this would have set the cat amongst the pigeons.
Okay I admit it, I'm a Manc ist.
