Just cancelled but some Freeview channels missing....

I recently cancelled my subscription and the Sky person told me that if I kept the card in the box I would get all the Freeview channels. But the channels Dave, Yesterday and Really are no longer viewable on the Skybox yet I can watch them fine on my TV's Freeview tuner. Is this right?

Dave, Yesterday and Really are not "free" channels on DSAT, they are pay channels.

you are confusing Freeview with free to view channels.

no, i bet she didn't say "freeview".
you assume when she said free channels that she meant freeview, that was your mistake.

you do still get access to free channels once you un-subscribe, that does not mean you get the same channels as you would on freeview or any other platform though.

then you'd lose your bet because she definitely told me FreeVIEW not FreeSAT so it was Sky's mistake and not mine. But, hey, no big deal, I still have the TV's tuner for those missing 3 channels.

    i never mentioned "freesat'.
was it you that mentioned freeview first? i suspect it was.

again, you should not confuse freeview OR freesat, with DSAT via a sky box.
