What 46" TV?

Hi. I'm looking to upgrade my TV, I currently have a 37" Samsung, but would like to get a 46" led lit TV. Any suggestions for up to £600? just want a good picture and reasonable sound I will be using Sky + HD, but not 3D ... ( I know the new thinner tv's don't have the greatest sound )
also...can someone tell me once and for all .. is 50Hz or 100 better?

It's a personal thing, and depends on the particular TV as well - I don't see 100Hz as any great improvement, or 200Hz either - apart from they are more expensive, so better sets anyway.
