I didn't notice lol wasn't paying that much attention :o

Your in the next episode ALOT though Avi.. Winning a bit of jousting I believe :D

Oh yes, you are right. I will enjoy it especially. :)

See Merthur fans.. Merlin just clearly said he did NOT want Arthur kneeling at his feet :p

Of course he doesn't. Merlin is clearly the sub in this relationship. :p

    Merlin without scarf!
    Nice Arthur coats!
Lots of scene and clothes changes, more to look at than later.
    That was fun!

So do I, but I wish they did the "do you believe in magic" slogan from the cinema trailer, at the end of each ep too.

    Quick drink-along episode 1 review:

Hooray! Here we go with series 2!:

Why would you have them work at night?

    Shirtlessness! *drinks*

    "Idiot!", Lol

    I do like Mackenzie Crook

    Shirtlessness! *drinks*

I also like Merlin and Arthur in the courtyard. "The Honour!" :D I'm beginning to see what people mean about Colin looking too skinny though, he looks almost gaunt in that scene

    Bloody execution-happy kings!

Stupid arrogant Uther. Thank you for what Gaius? Bloody crawler.

Love this stable scene too. Bradley is brilliant. Did you feature in this episode Avi?

Awww, poor little Merlin. Looks like Arthur simply doesn't love you. :p

    Destiny shite.

Shirtlessness! Plainly a re-use of the earlier scene, but still. *drinks*

I'm counting that as a guarding fail *drinks*

Arthur ignores Merlin. More proof of how little he regards him.

    Namby pamby fighting, lol :p

Quite a lot of late night shopping going on in Camelot

    Idiot Uther again

Go Gwen! Full points for not only saving Arthur's life but also finding time to press your breasts against him. :D

And Arthur has said Thank You to Gwen already.

Ah, the lower town. People who live there must have the lowest life expectancy ever :p

    F*cking dragon!

How do they make those torches?

Merlin has been brainwashed by Gaius the Coward. He thinks he has to be entirely subservient. I'm not saying he should have gone with Sigan's way of ruling by force, but he could certainly have got more recognition sooner if he hadn't been so scared of doing anything proactive.

Dum, dum Duuuuuummm! Merlin is evil! (did anyone buy that for a moment?)

You think they'd stick some kind of warning on that stone, not just brick it up again.

    *drinks for Uther being mental*

    Lazy, insolent ways, lol. :D

And cue the early series ending with a laugh shot

The commentary for this episode is good too. :)

Now on to ep 2. The best one of the series!

I really like the balance of humour and peril in this episode, and Mackensie Crook puts in an awesome performance. The only problem with it is when Merlin is wrongfully accused, injustice is the one thing that really makes me mad!
    The series trailer looked fantastic!

Lovely to see Merlin laugh, sorely missed from later episodes :(

I love the one trampy knight! Did they run out of good extras?

Hey Keren, Arthur's a bit sweaty there. ;)

Ep 2 - Arthur walks into his room and what do we see? A very fat candle.

I know! I may go quiet now, I love that jacket. Actually, I love Arthur. Throughout S2 Arthur was at his most handsome and gorgeous and attractive. Best haircut too.

I'm not sure why Gwen was so surprised when Arthur assumed that was his bed. She could hardly have expected the prince to sleep on the floor, she should have been organised and sorted the sleeping arrangements earlier

 Yet he, a knight, expects a woman to sleep on the floor? What on earth happened to chivalry

    :p

    My lovely Morgana :D

I'd agree, and I think the same applies to Gwen. :)

He doesn't know she is sleeping on the floor. He assumes she has a bed behind the curtain.

    Where IS her father's bed?

Lowri, Merlin wants to know how many times he's saved Arthur's life! 7 wasn't it? Hardly too many to count. :p

    Yay Leon! :D

    What's the Disney homage?

Oh dear god, I love that tantrum Merlin pulls. Esp the line 'and when I'm not doing chores for Arthur, I'm fulfiling my destiny.'

    LOL
