Just watching Chris' performance again and notice he totally messed up the words in that line

Chris did the first way, Janet did the second way. It's a credit to him as a performer not to be flustered, especially as if he had, the judge would lay into him for getting it wrong.
He also messed up the words in You Raise Me Up, singing the "more than I can be" line, instead of "to walk on stormy seas". I thought he deliberately changed it, but then the choir sang "stormy seas"
All isn't fair in war, that's what the Geneva Conventions are for.
