Declan convinced him that it was Sam instead, so he took his anger out on the van.

The fire is a misconception, he smashed it up because he mistakenly thought the van was mocking him.

Back in the days when Lisa ran a 'Painter & Decorator' buisiness with that soft sod who was related to Paddy, it had been their official work van, complete with bold heading on its side that proclaimed ... "Dingle & Kirk" ... "No Job Is Too Small."

Sadly, the usual Dingle neglect along with the inevitable rigors of time have long since faded this, leaving only visible what Robbie misinterpreted as ... "Rob Is Too Small."

So little wonder he was livid, he wasn't in the best of moods that evening as it was.

    Brilliant, Uncle Q.
You put a lot of thought into that..respect. ;-)

    If only 'twere true.

The sad truth is the ED writers have totally lost the plot and Robbie, who was the only one who had remembered that Declan was a broke, desperate, suicidal loser suddenly forgot this fact.

Yeh that's pretty much it. Provided Robbie really does believe Sam started the fire, then he considers Sam to be responsible for his mum Megan's injuries. Of course, being soap especially Emmerdale the Police do not care about the vandalism to Zak's van.

The police investigating the fire are CID so will concentrate on 'major crimes' such as fires, murders, rapes etc.

As the female officer said on Monday, the vandalism is to be investigated by uniform officers, although with what Sam is going through, the van will surely be bottom of their priorities.

The best way to upset the Dingles would be to have given the van a clean.

They wouldn't have even recognised it and reported it stolen. :p

Robbie surely should be the only one to stick with his instinct and foil Declan

    Too late.
Robbie's abandoned his instinct just because someone said " The Keystone Cops have pulled in Sam on some circumstantial evidence so it can't be Declan" even though he knows as well as anyone the incompetence of this police force because Declan himself was wrongly accused of murder less than a year ago!

This stupid storyline might make me abandon ED. Especially if Charity 'Teflon' Dingle doesn't get her comeuppance.
On top of 'Vicar Wars' and those awful freeloading farmers this may be the last straw for me.
