The other memorable scene for me in that episode is when the Freak pays Brenda Hewitt a visit in solitary, after Hewitt has arranged for the Freak to be blackmailed by the Fellowes gang. An awesome scene, Hewitt was a great short term character who should have stayed longer.

Agree, I think it's a shame Brenda, Randi and Bridges all left around the same time, they all had potential and should all have stayed another dozen or more episodes.
I thought she had some potential to be developed and progress in the series. There were FAR worse characters than her who lasted much longer.
I'm not denying there weren't worst characters in there. Just confused over all the love for Randi when, as far as I'm aware she hasn't really done anything of any worth, she's not even a shockingly bad actress, just a bit meh.

how come you guys 'get' Randi? I'm finding her a bit of a wallflower tbh.
Partly, it's because I find her sexy.
Maybe you have to be a straight male to like her.
But more than that I like how she was educated yet made a clear, conscious decision to be a pro. It was something she had thought about and wasn't ashamed of. This, to me, makes her a very original and unique character given that she's in a TV series made in the 80s. So I like how the character knows herself, defies convention and goes for what she wants.
Despite being a private school educated girl, she even joins in, in lynching the Freak! Naughtiness is sexy.
I'm surprised some of you rate Myra higher than Bea. I always found Myra to be a carbon copy of Bea. Bea to me was the best top dog they had. Rita second. After Bea left and they made ''Me Dears'' top dog it was so stupid so I think the producers panicked when they saw their mistake and realised they needed someone exactly like Bea. So they brought in Myra. However I think Rita would have been perfect to introduce at that point. What they needed was a contrast top dog. Not a clone. Which to me is all Myra was.

Randi Goodlove was tragically underused.
I love Randi and her voice.
Yes i agree. There is much more they could have done with Randi, a real waste of potential getting her killed off.
Randi was great and she went too soon:mad:, but what an exit:eek:
am I getting confused? Randi - the hooker dressed in the Darth Vader outfit (minus the helmet) when she went in/came out of Wentworth?
Yeah Randi Goodlove, maybe you haven't seen the best of her yet.
clearly not. That **** is a bore.

Yeah but that voice
I'll be paying special attention to her voice in tonights ep.
speaking of boring bitches, lol, that Petra Roberts is a real drag. Even atrocious acting can't save this one.
Good
Petra Roberts is definately one who outstayed her welcome, Never really thought much of the character and she is not a very good actress.
Too right. I dunno why they're dragging this rehash of the Karen and Doc Miller story out?
