Talking about look-a-likes , when Ash has no makeup on she reminds me of Haley Mills in Search of the Castaways, can anyone else see this likeness?

Sorry to say 1st thing she reminds me of some sort of new born rodent.
Have to say that she scrubs up remarkably well though - ding-dong!
    ;)

One for the older FMs but last night I finally realised where I had heard that booming voice before - the 'redoubtable' Peggy Mount!
Peggy often played very insensitive characters who completely dominated those around her.

The only thing missing is a Pat Coombes style HM to be her sidekick :)

My friend Wendy talks loud and deep like Jayne..
    They both sound like blokes.

Do they smoke or have they ever smoked? I've got a deep voice, years of smoking, but I have been a non smoker for 18 months.......voice is still deep though and I get taken for a man if I'm talking to a stranger on the phone :)

Don't insult the late, great Peggy Mount!

Jayne is a loud mouthed talentless office politics player phckwit.

Peggy Mount was a classic comedy actress who played strong characters.

Good God, now I feel old too. :( I must have been very young though, and have a fantastic memory. What year was that on?

    Are you related to Jayne?
You certainly have a way of misunderstanding the tone of posts.

     :):)

I don't know who Peggy Mount is (before my time ;) ) but you know this talk on the forum about Jayne possibly being a mole ... well I'm just wondering ...

    - she's loud and obnoxious
    - she jumped on the bed the first night and it broke
    - she was evicted into the main house
    - she tried to stir things for Aisleyne before she came back in and still does a lot of stirring
    - she causes them all to be up for eviction
    - she's always burping as if anyone would do that on Big Brother knowing how they edit things
    - now they've set a burping task!

There's just too much funny business around this woman.

Is my mind working overtime?

Putting a smiley after being rude doesn't make it any better.

I was joking as you can tell by the exclamation mark after my first sentence.

You certainly have a way of misunderstanding posts as well.

But Peggy's battleaxe character always seemed to be kind to me at heart.

I don't see anything kind about Jayne.

Then again I was only about 5 or 6 when I used to watch Peggy Mount in that 70's series so maybe you golden oldies are right ;):D

I've just googled and 'You're Only Young Twice' was 1977. I was 7 years old, I still remember it very well though. :)

Peggy Mount was great but Jayne is nothing but a sack-o shite.

She seems quite like Arfur Mullard to me.
