Lets be fair they all have the same cast... geeky kid, cheeky kid, teenage (usually blonde) girl for the randy teenage lads and a MILF for the dads to drool over......:D oh and terrible storylines.

At least many of these shows have decent theme songs.

I've heard that Kyle Massey (That's So Raven, Cory in the House) has got cancer. :(

I loved That's So Raven (oh, SNAP ya nasty! :D), Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Recess, Wizards of Waverly Place, Hannah Montana (ish) and Sonny With a Chance (again, ish).

I think Disney Channel is dreadful these days. :(

So sad. Who'd have thought something like this would ever happen to Cory Baxter! :(:(

    I hope he pulls through.

There are way too singing/dancing/performing arts shows on Disney Channel nowadays.

Very true. And some of the acting is just awful. And the comedy, well, just isn't as good as it was in the older shows anymore.

I believe it moved to Disney in the later seasons, when they went to college and it became, imo, crap.

Disney sitcoms represent the downfall of civilisation. They are cheaply made formulaic crap. I'd much rather have my kids watch "Regular Show" as it encourages free thinking.

    That was ABC

The old sitcoms back in the 90's and early 00's were the best

It looks as though that Kyle Massey thing was just a hoax.

Thankfully it was. He's strongly denied all the rumours.

Disney seem to rely on glamour/performing arts nowadays. Then again, kids would watch virtually anything which has an audience laughing in the background. Why do all the shows nowadays focus on real-life things too much, and stuff about 'following your dreams'?

Wizards of Waverly Place doesn't (well, at all!). I can stand The Suite Life, Good Luck Charlie and the other shows frequently but its just annoying how Disney has gone down the toilet...

I liked That's So Raven and going further back Smart Guy, Home Improvement, Boy Meets World and Two Of A Kind.

I'd forgot Home Improvement was a Disney show. That's the sole reason I miss the old abc1 channel.

This accounts for Nickelodeon too - too many shows nowadays feed showbiz fantasies to children.

That's why I would prefer The Suite Life over Austin & Ally for example.

These shows around today hardly make me laugh - realistically, only a few times per season where I would laugh a couple of times during each episode of The Suite Life on Deck for example (Mr Moseby, along with the twins, make that series).

No classic moments with these shows of today. I've been getting into watching Drake and Josh and I realise how tacky Nickelodeon shows are today.

Disney must have ran out of ideas - their latest show is about a talking dog, with a blog. Seriously? Where's the fun in that?

Just watched an episode of ANT Farm the other week, and it was surprisingly funny.
