Yet, strangely, they're never met by any criticism from Old Hippy

Well, perhaps had I seen the threads/posts in question and noticed them I might have had something to say, but I can't really comment on posts I haven't seen,

But, for the record, I totally condemn all posters who make accusations against other posters without evidence,

Of course anyone can do 'an angry post' without thinking it through, or using a poor choice of words,

but when a poster or posters continuously make 'snide' accusations and personal comments against another poster, (without provocation) regardless of which political party either side support, it's just not very adult behaviour, and it's sometimes difficult not to retaliate,

However, politicians, or political parties, (within reason) are fair game, in my opinion,

    Taxi for Mr Miliband:

"Arriving in London on Tuesday to see blazoned across a newspaper front page Ed Miliband’s promise of a 20‑month freeze on energy bills, I clapped my hand to my head in disbelief. There is no one else in the country, I and many others must have thought, who has done more to drive Britain’s energy bills through the roof than Mr Miliband: the man who, in 2008, shortly after becoming our first secretary of state for energy and climate change, passed his Climate Change Act, easily the most expensive law ever put through Parliament, committing us to cut our “carbon emissions” by four fifths in 40 years

In 2009 it was this column that revealed, thanks to the assiduous Peter Lilley MP, that Miliband’s own department had estimated that this Act would cost us all up to £18 billion every year until 2050. When, in 2010, he became Labour leader, I called him “the costliest politician in British history"

Quite right you are fair game.

I'm sorry to keep on going back to this but the situation to do with energy prices still go back to Thatcher who closed down the mines putting thousands of miners out of a job, she then privatised the energy companies hence the huge profits for anyone to see.

Sadly it is the way FATCATS operate by saying "oh if we have to pay for measures to stop global warming we want more money", who suffers?. Not the private FATCATS but the poor customers and year after year they announce huge increases in profits.

As for Cameron not answering the question and Gordon Brown was much better than him and so was Tony Blair as they not only answered the question but they explained it very clearly, but what did all Tory leaders say including Scameron?. "Oh he's not answering the question".

Well Mr Scameron that is you now and the sooner Labour are back in power and 2015 comes the better.

I can't recall having accused someone of being paid by the Tories to post on here.

I have suggested that some are party members or receive party releases concerning what topics to discuss. Something that was confirmed recently in the Mail by a former tory party member. I posted a link to the article where she stated the number of emails from various people in the Tory party promoting a subject or policy.

More mines closed under Labour than Thatcher

You can always sense Harriet Harman cringing inside when Ed Miliband speaks at PMQs.

Really? How do you sense that...clairvoyance?

Now don't go bringing facts into it - facts are always inconvenient bu**ers when it comes to a good old fashioned anti-Thatcher rant.

Just caught up with today's PMQs, Miliband did really well, he showed Cameron up by repeatedly going back to the point that the PM simply wasn't answering the question. Also, how many times did Cameron want to reference Ed's father with his 'socialist' and 'Marxist' comments?

You seem oblivious to what really happens, and with over 22,00 posts not much time for a real job!
No wonder these stay-at home-all-day types are so keen on a freeze to energy prices.
It can be cold sitting posting on DS all day.;)

You didn't need to sense it, you could see the look of utter disdain on her face especially when he got really angry.

I read the comments on this thread before watching the PMQs and actually looked out for this. It's true she wasn't nodding her head as enthusiastically as some of the other labour MPs were, but at no point did she seem uncomfortable or to be cringing.

Somehow I expect we are going to be hearing "socialist" and "Marxist" every week from now on. It's not so much to do with Miliband's father and more because of his claim that he's "bringing Socialism back" - something so ridiculous that it deserves mocking.

To be fair, it is good labour have stumbled onto this. The economy question has been lost to them as the economy now looks like it is on the mend.

Now due to how our stand of living has decreased due to inflation, it is good that something is done about that. If that means that "red tape", government surcharges, taxes are removed/cut to lower prices, I'm all for that. If anything, it should now be on the table as when the good times role, the rich wont feel any slight taxes increases to help the poorer.

Come the 2015 GE we're still likely to be spending something in the region of £2bn a week more than we bring in and you think there's room for all that?

    No chance.

But Justicar was implying it was happening at every Prime Minister's Questions.
