    too old for me but I can see where you are coming from. In the top pic he reminds me of the lord in downton abbey

    John Bowe is a great actor. He deserves better than this role of a homosexual, who curbs his inclinations and has a family with a woman, then comes back to the village to harass the elderly widow of his former lover, Harold.

    I don't really think that is the intentions of Laurence to be honest !! The past is behind him - he wants a new family Home!! He certainly looks like the Lord of the Manor!! :)

    I love the looks of his new dysfunctional family too! :D:D

    I keep refering to him as Duggie which could get confusing if Doug is staying around.

    He is a quality actor though :)

    hmm. I was hoping there would be a little romance with Edna. but as his family know about his history and aren't bothered I can see him having it away with someone male in the village

    He's absolutely great. Love the actor and the character.

    Hope he stirs up as much trouble as possible, but I doubt it'll be anything to do with Edna.
