True, and I almost never think that the 'he nominated him' argument means anything. Mark is not involved in any rows or hostility and would obviously far rather not have to nominate anyone at all. Since he is never anything but pleasant, he is obliged to nominate someone he has been pleasant to.

I think he picks funny lines for reasons and then matches the housemate to it.
