Ford Mondeo Zetec 2000/2001 windscreen wipers wont turn off.

They only turn off when the engine is switched off.

Help please as was a nightmare driving home with my windscreen wipers going an no rain everyone was looking like I was a mental case. :D

    For a quick fix so you don't look like a nutter in the morning find the correct fuse in the fuse box (provided they are on their own fuse)

    Either a relay or control arm fault. They should be quite easy to check.

    Tke your car to a proper auto electricians (not one of the fast-fit places that purport to know anything about electrics). They'll diagnose it in minutes and fix it properly.
