Has disappointment with one sex pushed you towards the other?

I've certainly experienced a shift over time, particularly after some disappointing experiences with one sex. So now I feel more drawn to the other, at least on a carnal level.

Has this ever happened to you?

No. I tried a 'normal' relationship....

    It did not work.

Unless someone is bisexual then that simply can't happen.

And how does one link disappointment with a few people of one sex lead to thinking that all people of that sex are no good?

So it fails on all counts.

No amount of disappointment in men could make me contemplate a vagina.

No, I'm an eternal optimist and as someone once said 'it don't mean a thing if it ain't got that schwing'. Men all the way for me.

    No, unless you are bisexual.

What can happen is that a person can withdraw from sex and relationships, and then withdraw into reclusion. It's happening in western countries and particularly so in Japan for a number of reasons.

I'm not bisexual, so no, men for me, short ones, tall ones, fat ones, thin ones - I'm seldom disappointed. It helps having very low standards of course ;)

Perhaps you should try bivalves. ;-) With cockles, mussels, winkles and so forth what more could you want? :D

No. Men can be real tossers at times - my own man is sometimes the biggest tosser of them all (he's just as complimentary about me :D) but there's not a chance I'd ever trade him in for a woman!

Not necessarily, enough bad experiences with one sex can make the other seem much more appealing from then on.

Admittedly, one would need at least a degree of fluidity in their sexuality for that to happen.

What a ridiculous thing to ask. Human sexuality doesn't work like that.

How do you know? Do you have special magic powers that allow you to peep inside all 7,000,000,000+ humans' heads and know all their sexualities inside out?

And how do you explain all the people who've experienced shifts in their desires over time, Dr. Sex Expert?
