    It was stunning...he looks like my uncle!!!!

    I wish they would give acts like him more attention instead of hoggers Cher and Katie....

    Stunning vocal, good to actually hear someone singing rather than backing vocals dominating like with Cher tonight.

    Brilliant but why did Simon sound gutted to praise him but fawned over the crap Cher. The favouritism gets worse

    It was amazing, I think he needs to sing something current though to appeal to the younger audience. He has a great voice, I think maybe something by Usher would suit him perfect.

    Oh wasnt he brilliant ... i was really concerned for him when i knew what he was gonna sing ... but ...he nailed it ...

    Just hope he gets the recognition he so deserves...and people vote

    He sounded the same as last week. Bit dull. I think he's being stitched up - they give him boring songs to sing.

    I noticed that and said to my husband, "Did you hear him fawn over the awful Cher but he grudgingly had to admit that John gave a great performance?" when in fact John gave an outstanding performance and was the best vocal AND performance of the night.

    From Judges Houses when he sang the billionaire song and how wonderfully he did so I noticed he was fab, that was just an awful song he got last week.

    I agree with everyone he was great...

    But he's just so forgettable.. I remember thinking after he sang "Oh he was really good" but I can't recall what he actually sang now.
