Will Little Mix crack America?

I feel like we should do a similar thread for them just because.

Now that you have heard the song; will US radio respond well too it? Will they be massive here?

In my opinion; while i love the song, am not too sure if its US radio friendly but it is pretty different then most songs on the mainstream radio, so that could give it an edge.

Little Mix were my second favorite last season; by the way.

Simon will probably market them to the whole Disney/Nickelodeon crowd, kind of like One Direction. I can actually seeing them being very USA-friendly.

Perrie maybe because of the plotted Zayn showmance - but lets not get ahead of ourselves, the reason 1D are doing well over there is because of the sex appeal, and y'know how bitchy girls can get.

These sorts of threads really annoy me. THEY HAVEN'T EVEN CRACKED BRITAIN YET. Leave it a few months before thinking about other countries, please.

I'm a Little Mix Fan and I have to agree with the above poster. Wait till LM release another single or two and an album here first.

^ Yes, same.

I don't think Little Mix are even THAT big in the UK right now (just look at the dislikes on the youtube video, some people still don't get them). They need to succeed in their own country first before considering cracking America.

I think that the song can't please everybody and not everyone is going to like the song. But I agree with you saying that they need to succeed in the UK first.

I personally think it will be very hard for them to break into America. I'm not American so I don't know if I'm right but I dont think girl groups are around anymore. But with the British fever that is happening over at the America, you dont know whats going to happen.

I might get laughed at, but maybe they should go over to Asia with all the K-Pop. I think that they will take Little Mix quite well. Just my opinion.

haha sorry if its annoying to sme of you, but I am anxiously already waiting for their American debut... The market desperatley needs a girl group to make it big; Pussycat Dolls did decently here but we havent had a huge girl group since Spice Girls..

I agree Asian market might love this.

I do think America is possible, if they get to try, I agree nickelodeon/Disney market first.
It would be good on a show like "shake it up" where it's a dancing based tween show. However, 1d wasn't promoted on Disney channel likely because of the Columbia/nickelodeon deal.

Even though I do think Simon will try, it is early to know for sure.
