I suggest you take a look at the Green party's manifesto, or listen to some of Corbyn's ideas on immigration. They want all borders dissolved

UK v US was chosen mainly because half the CBB housemates these days are American anyway - they thought it would a bit of fun since both countries are similar culturally. But I think it could turn into a rather toxic anti-British agenda.
