Moving house and contract time (Orange)

Hi,
I signed with Orange in March 2009 on an 18 month contract. I've been thinking about leaving them as I have horrible download speeds and ping. I moved house two months ago and arranged change of address. Someone has told me that this counts as if you have renewed your contract, is this right? I don't want to stay with them a moment longer never mind another 18 months. Their call centre service is horrible, can't even understand what they're saying 90% of the time.
Would appreciate your feedback.

With Talktalk if you move address you sign a new 18 month agreement. They state their contract is tied to the property, not the individual. Maybe Orange have something similar.
