As a single man with no dog or kids, I imagine parents don't want me in a park. It's a no go area.
Nothing wrong with being single. I presume you pay taxes on park upkeep? If anyone asked me I would say "I am checking to see if my money is being well spent". Mind you you shouldn't need an excuse at all to use local recreation faciltiies.
i stopped taking my son a few years ago as all the play areas were full of broken bottles and their was always a solitary (i hope it was dog) dog turn coiled in the centre of the slide
