Alex Salmond tells female MP 'behave yourself woman!'

I can't imagine any leading Tory, Labour or Lib Dem MP getting away with using such a sexist phrase.

Will Nicola discipline Wee Eck or is he a law unto himself?

    Being remotely interested would involve you criticising one of your heroes and we know from your many posts that you don't have that particular strength of character. For you the SNP and their supporters can do no wrong whatsoever.

    Funny. I've criticised Mhairi Black, I've criticised Salmond. You are really quite adept at posting incorrect statements or allegations.

    I think it's just the Scottish way. If it was a male MP he would have said "Behave yourself man".

    Calling a woman a "woman" is sexist? Just as calling a man a "man" or girl a "girl"?

    I'm anticipating the day when the Telegraph finally overtakes the Mail as worst newspaper, (well maybe apart from The Sun)

    I take it you've never watched PMQ's then? What Salmond said is positively mild compared to some of the vitriol that gets thrown about.

    The standard response to a man from a woman in that situation would be "Behave yourself little boy"...I know...because I've used it more than once :p
