I'm wondering how many people lend their support to whatever political party yet aren't actually registered with it as a supporter.

No, I'm not. I vote in every election that comes along, but I'm not registered as an official supporter of the party I vote for.

No, I'm not a member of any British political party and I want to retain my independence of thought to criticise any party or policy.

I'm not suggesting that it should be mandatory to register support for any political party or anything.

No because who I vote for is dependent on the prevailing circumstances.

I have voted conservative, Liberal and Labour in the past.

I might now be a 'supporter' of Labour through my trade union, but only so that I can vote in the leadership election. I would never vote Labour though.

Yeah I'm a member of UKIP. Seeing as I'm only 21, it was only £2. That's the only reason, because it was only £2

I've learnt something there. I thought if you signed up to a political party it was free, and up to you to decide whether you wanted to contribute any funding.

Nope and never have been, I judge each party on its merits at each election and criticise all of them.

It wasn't because you support the aims of Ukip then? :)

No, I believe that all political parties exist for the Party first.

Surely parties exist primarily because they want to achieve a particular aim?

I used to be a Labour party member, from the days of Kinnock through to my disillusionment with Brown. Since then I've voted based on who I feel will do the least harm to me.

I first joined a political party on 19th September 2014.
Before then I was interested in current affairs and history and have voted for all three of the main pan-UK parties in the past.

And what made you sign up to whatever party it is, if you don't mind me asking?

Cameron's linking of more powers ALREADY promised to Scotland to EVEL only hours after the referendum result. He couldn't even wait a few weeks or so until Smith was underway.
