I know the freesat+ is overpriced but I got the freesat+ here in Dublin for €359 from www.freesat.ie on friday

I recorded 2 family guy episodes yesterday and I watched them this afternoon for a test

That's actually not a bad price considering that this sort of thing is usually priced at a much larger margin over the UK price.

It's good to see that official (as freesat.ie put it) freesat receivers are becoming more readily available in Ireland. They should prove very popular. No Freeview unless you are near the border and, as an alternative to Sky, freesat is far better value for money than it is in UK. No FSFS here and the basic Irish Sky subscription lacks many UK FTA channels including BBC3, BBC4, and any ITV channel. OK these can be tuned as "Other channels", but that's hassle and they can't be recorded.

Mine worked out at €321 on my German credit card as the exchange rate to the pound was rather good at the time so €359 in Dublin seems quite reasonable!
What ever happened to Sat4Free? Did it die a death?
