activating superhub 2

hi guys - after getting very poor signal with superhub, virgin media have sent me a superhub2 as a self install, its still packed in the box, havnt connected it yet..how do i go about setting it up?...shall i just connect it all up and it should sync automatically ?or do i need to phone them.ta

It says you need account info and stuff but I didn't.
I just got through to an automated line and it took less than a minute.
