Just a reminder that Oslo is up tomorrow, unfortunately BBC3 again, so fans of the BBC's Bolt greatest hits montage will be more satisfied than fans of field events. Also up is Sally Pearson in the women's hurdles, and an early season middle distance showdown in the Dream Mile.
Thanks for that Ads. I see Chambers had a -1.6m/s headwind and if it was a bit wet then that can explain the time a bit. But you wonder if age has caught up with him this season.
Oslo has got going in the B races, and Nigel Levine has won the 400m b race in a new pb of 45.11! Our 400m relay team is looking pretty good at the moment!

And now Gareth Warburton has just run under 1.45 for the first time in the 800m!
That felt like a really long hold when mark lewis francis went early.. they hadn't even been told 'set' when he moved forward. It seemed to go on and on and on. I was expecting the track official to signal a problem.
Dai Greene a bit disappointing in the 400H, Javier Coulson starting to look like the Real Deal, though.
Missed most of the meet. Dai seems to have been well beaten though. As this is one of my big ticket events, I don't want to be seeing this sort of thing in August!! Culson is obviously in great form but worrying to see Gordon and Gaymon run so well. As if there wasn't enough competition in the event!!

I wouldn't be surprised if the sprint athletes complain about starting problems at the event.

Some good Uk performances in there.
But...Chambers ran 10.48 in the 100m

Looks like the last event is 9.50 local time, so 8.50 here

Thank you
For the first time in a while we seem to have a decent hand at 800m.
Great run by Sally Pearson, though, I make here the biggest favourite for Gold on the women's side.
You never seen Dwain Chambers then I'm guessing!
