this is probably just my Emmett bias at work but i really think Constantine would have been doing much better had they cast Emmett as the lead. Emmett as this ability to bring so much depth to characters with very little help from script,and i think that what the show as need since the writing have not been very good. as it stand now that show is going to need a miracle .
I think they got the casting spot on tbh. I think Emmett is perfect as Jim and Matt is perfect as Constantine. I am one of the few that liked the movie so I was looking forward to the show and it does sadden me that I probably won't get to see Emmett in his tights as The Spectre.

Sounds like the show's got its perfect next Later then if they want it, but I cant have BK anywhere near it. So too bad itll never happen.

By then theyll have retconned the HIV, hopefully JP will be dead and forgotten, and Kieron will finally be ready to leave. Thats if they plan on including him...

Ive seen critics out there saying that they think the problem is that it was just NBC looking to cash in on a popular gothic comic in an era of comic book properties all over the place in tv and film, and Constantine lacks any real vision behind it. And Id have to agree. David Goyer's nothing but a hack. I had high hopes for Da Vinci's Demons too, but thats a stinker as well.
