Can you still buy Tizer?

I haven't seen it for years. It was a pinky/orange coloured fruity flavoured soft drink that came in a red can. It had its own distinctive taste and smell which I still remember now.

I used to drink gallons of it as a kid, along with Irn Bru bizarley.

It is made by Barrs who also make Irn Bru. You can buy it in some supermarkets, I think, but it's not widely available.

I swear I saw it in Woolworths a few days ago here in York - not entirely sure though.

I saw cans of Tizer the other day but I can't think where. Also, recently(ish) they made Tizer into different colour codes for differing flavours (Tizer Red, Tizer Green etc)...although I just liked the original Tizer.

I also love Sunkist and mango and mandarin Lilt, neither of which I can get hold of anymore. :( we've got all these bloody flavours of Coke but not a single type of mango and mandarin fizzy beverage on the market!

Tizer is available pretty much anywhere as far as I can see.

But I too miss Top Deck - shandy and limeade and lager :(

I wonder why you can't get it anymore?

Our local Saisnburys still sells Tizer. I know this because we bought a bottle of it a couple of weeks back. I swear it just tastes like lemonade though!

I don't know what happened to Top Deck, another one of the 80s pleasures we are now denied.

Top Deck was brilliant - lovely stuff *possibly remembering it through rose coloured glasses*

There's a self full of Tizer in the newsagent's next door to me if that's any help :) (42p a can!)

I don't understand why there are loads of people on here who miss it - yet no one a) knows why it was stopped and b) why somone doesn;t make it - there is obviously a market

Any one know if any of the main Supermarket still stock this drink. I love Tizer but can't find it in Tesco or Sainsburys.

What happened to it, why have they stopped selling it?
