It's a brilliant idea....trouble is it doesn't snow in this country anymore :(
I live in Yorkshire and trust me, It does snow.

I remember those ones! I always used to think the guy on the quad bike was Butch Dingle! I was so young!

    I agree with you.

I dont so much dislike the titles, but the music.

They should have THESE titles again

I could feel Amos Brearly breathing down the back of my neck while I watched that

I always remember the hang glider and the rock climber, as well as the lambs skipping.

I don't remember the first titles as I was too young, but I've seen them on an Emmerdale video.

In the beginning Emmerdale was filmed in the village of Arncliffe in the Yorkshire Dales. I've been over that way several times and it is beautiful. It then moved to Elslack, near Bradford and then finally to its new home in the grounds of Harewood House, near Leeds. :)

crikey that was a blast from the past ! seemed to last ages mind, no good for a cliff hanger. i remember going to Esholt the village where it was filmed a few times, must be alot quieter these days. Maybe they should bring in some more farmers and get some more animals back into it again show the farming life. :D

Nor am I. I was born practically two decades too late to remember those. :o

Oops. Just correcting myself! I meant Esholt, not Elslack (which is near Skipton)! :o

I went to Esholt once when Emmerdale was still being filmed there. I got a few photos of The Woolpack and the corner shop! :D

I firmly believe that the current opening sequence best reflects the programme. :)
