Bunny? BUNNY?! Makes sense I guess, given your dad was going at it like a rabbit with all of mums mates.

The difference being that "Bista" is an affectionate nickname used by the Andre family only, but it appears that baby Hayler is going to be landed with the ridiculous official name of Bunny. Have you read EVERY interview that PA does to come to the conclusion he always refers to his daughter as "Bista"?

Wasn't going to reply any further but seeing as you've quoted me directly!

YOU think it's 'a ridiculous' name, but I don't. There are many more 'far out' celeb kids names out there than Bunny, which I personally don't think is too bad in the grand scheme of things.

No, I haven't read 'every' interview TM has given in the whole wide world:D (this is fun, a bit like being back in primary school). :D and in my own personal view, if it's merely a nickname used by the Andre family only, he should have the decency to refer to his little girl by her proper christened name in public and keep the 'affectionate' nickname of 'bista' for the Andre family ears, only. And I'd stake my house on it that TM probably can't even remember himself the last time he called his little girl Princess!

Blimey, wish I had your powers of mind-reading. :o

Yes, I would definitely agree that name calling has the ring of primary school about it (not talking about Baby Hayler) ;-)

I don't remember claiming anywhere in my post that I was a mind reader;-)

But I have noticed in his interviews when he refers to her as 'bista' sometimes even the magazines change their text to call her Princess.

Anyway, I'm off on the school run shortly then onto work. So I'll leave you to it!

Edit. Aww, but it's just a nickname;-)

Quite recently actually. He did a radio interview with Steve White where, unless my ears are deceiving me he refers to her as Princess.
I was going to post the link but as this thread is not about PA I wont. However, if you want to check it out for yourself;-) the link to the interview is on the App thread, page 43 post no 1068.:)

Lucky she's not still with PA as they would probably have called it Empress Duchess the Third. Or something.

"The decency to refer to his little girl by her proper christened name in public?" WHY? It's hardly an offence.

It's probably not Bista on the school register or on her coat peg at school so I don't think anyone should decide whether his use of his own daughter's name is right or decent or anything like that.

She's called Bista because Junior couldn't say sister, so I think it's a sweet piece of family history.

She did a photo shoot with Jett in OK not long after he was born, she sold photos of him to The Sun on Mother's day, she also did another OK shoot with him recently.

This photo shoot now with Bunny, which I'm sure wont be the last.

But, PA is the only one who is slated for it and his baby gets called "Meal ticket".

    Strange.

KP isn't the one bleating on about being private from the cover of OK, or loser magazine, or Now, or New, or whatever rag dangles a cheque in front of her every other week!

Why oh why, are some FM's unable to restrict their obsession with Peter Andre to the thread purely for that purpose?

Bunny, as a nickname.....cute. Bunny as a given name.....unfortunate and lacking in thought.........but then her mother is Jordan!!!

What a horrible thread this has turned out to be,it's supposed to be a simple thread of wondering what Katie Price has called her baby when it's nothing of the sort it's just posters baiting each other -ridiculous -try the positive thread approach mentioned by a poster on another thread and so many agreeing that negativity damages the soul -well that went out of the window didn't it?

There's no need to be like this,so what if Katie has named her baby bunny, she's a beautiful baby so is Amelia why can't people be happy for that reason? :(

Bringing up PAs eldest daughter in a thread nothing whatsoever to do with her (post 189) was bound to elicit comments. Yes?

    Hahaha!!:D:D

Bunny is a cutsy name, unconventional yes - but harmless-and no different to all the other Rainbow, Bear, Buddy, Dolly, Pixie and Petals out there.

The saddest part of this thread is that no-one has commented what a beautiful baby she is. Perhaps we should focus on that - as all this negativity is bad for the soul.;-)

Welcome to the world little Bunny.:)

Whilst it is not a name I would choose K&K are not unique in choosing it as an official name for their child ( if that is what they have done).

Since official registration began in 1837 the first recorded instance of it as a first name is 1907.
There are 30-40 examples on the British register.
Also plenty of examples of it as a middle name ( maybe from a family surname).

Bunny!!! OMG she's setting that child up for ridicule. Imagine all the 'shags like a rabbit' jibes she's going to get when she's a teen?! :o All very cute now while she's a little baby but how will it sit on a woman of 30, 40, 50 etc? Or if she wants to go into a more sober profession e.g. Bunny Hayler QC? Dr Bunny Hayler? Hmmm. Sorry but Bunny Hayler sounds more like a porn star to me! :o:D

Why oh why couldn't she give her a more normal name which could have been shortened to Bunny?

I know it could have been a lot worse but I don't like it for a proper, formal name.

I suspect that KP's children will probably grow up to be "professional offspring of famous parents" and have some kind of media career as it's all they have ever known so I don't think the name would be a handicap. I still think it's better suited to a nickname though.
It's really NOT that bad - when you think what she could have been called.
And it's no stupider than Apple or Pixie or Buddy Bear.

    :(

Seems it's wrong to be negative about the kid's name as she might see the thread some day. But it's ok to bash Princess's names.

Peter calls Princess by her proper name, I've heard him.
Was it not KP that wanted Duchess of Brighton :D How the heck is Pete being blamed for that one?

Good luck to them all, hopefully they all happy families again and they will just get on with it and we will never hear from them again.
