The 2014 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona kicks off tomorrow
Well actually the ball starts rolling today with Hauwei announcing some new devices .
What are you looking for to from this years moby love fest ?
Personally I am interested in the S5 reveal and I'm hoping for some serious firepower.
I don't pay any attention to the so called 'leaked' spec sheets
I wonder if there will be any pleasant surprises from someone like Acer .

Perhaps budget smartwatches and new versions of existing smartwatches. Gear 2 and possibly Toq 2 (the Toq has just been reduced). I would guess Archos will show more of their smartwatches.
Alcatel have already shown the Pop fit, a palmsized (budget) Android phone that can worn on your arm and comes with basic fitness apps and widgets.

Using tizen. Interesting move. Watches look ok.
Anyway nevermind .
The higlight so far for me is the Lenovo S860 . Which seems great specs for not too much money .
Thanks for starting this thread. It's nice to have somewhere to talk about all this new technology.
Don't take it personally. The “clique” (they know who they are) on here have no interest in actually discussing mobile news. They would rather have 40 pages of pointless miss informed argument.
The Xperia Z2 looks like yet another disappointing device from Sony. Big bezels. When will they learn? And I would wager the camera is a POS like the Z, Z1 & Z1 compact.
Yes I wasn't impressed with Sony's offerings at all. I followed the live blog this morning and it left me feeling meh. I thought Huawei's stuff yesterday was far more interesting. Sony really need their phones to be successful as they have stopped making their Vaio laptops. They've also gotten out of the ebook reader market too.

Not to my liking, but some people may get it. Will be interesting to see how well it sells.
