Will you miss Sky Movies 007?

There's only a few days to go and I have to admit that I'll miss it.

I've seen them all many times before and I own the DVD boxset but there's so little on TV at the moment that I like that I am often drawn to this channel.

I've learnt that I'll never like Pierce Brosnon or Daniel Craig but I've also realised how good Timothy Dalton was and I now wish he'd made more.

'The Living Daylights' has gone from my least favourite to one of my favourites due to it having probably the most believable romance in a Bond movie.

For the last month I have been able to go to bed, switch on the TV and have good chance of watching a half decent movie.

Back to normality soon :(

I presume they will still be scheduled on the other Sky Movie channels and we'll get Showcase back, which is a bit of a mixed bag of movie titles.

The advert for the channel was very clever, making all the Bonds chase each other :D

I have only watched one live but have seen 7 other Bond films wither from showcase or downloaded them from on demand. I have a 1tb box so still have around ten Bond films on showcase which should stay on there for a few weeks. But the 007 section in the on demand movies section should stay there until mext September. Planning to see them all. Has anyone watched the 1954 Casino royale? Is it worth a look?

I've announced that The Walt Disney Company will also to have James Bond movies in 2014. When MGM and Sony retire the 007 films.

No, I don't have Sky but I did get the Bond Box Set on Blu Ray for just under £73.

Problem is I still have the DVD tin set which I paid a lot more for.

The 1954 Casino Royale is worth a look mainly for Peter Lorre and the cast looking startled as a gun goes off at the wrong moment. It looks like it was made in the Stone Age but it's quite enjoyable.

I don't think YOU announcing something makes it a fact.

Me too.. how much you pay for it? i think i paid £149 and that was only up until die another day, thats what put me off the blu ray, the fact i already have the dvds.
but any "boxset" released will never be complete while they are still making the movies,

Well, to be pedantic Skyfall will be on Sky Movies Premiere to start with, it's not on Sky Movies 007 until Sat 13th.

Wrong! Skyfall will be on both Sky Movies Premiere AND Sky Movies 007 from July 1st.

Are you sure? (staying on the pedantic theme) that article says it'll be on Sky Movies Premiere and On Demand, not on the actual 007 channel.

Absolutely correct. It only says it 3 times, in the headline, the first line of the article and the last line of the article.

Skyfall starts on Sky Movies Premier on Monday 1st July at 2pm and 8pm. It will also be available On Demand.

Skyfall isn't on Sky Movies 007 until Saturday 13th July at 10:30pm.

Ok sorry I completely misread the article and was misled by the headline "The Bond Channel Is Back With Skyfall On July 1st". To me this means Skyfall will be on The Bond Channel on July 1st. As for all The Bonds will be On Demand from July 1st apart from Skyfall they have never stopped being On Demand since last October! Depends how you interpret it. I still cant see where it says Skyfall is on 007 channel on July 13th at 10.30.

... including Casino Royale (1967), Never Say Never Again (1983), and the original TV version of Casino Royale (1954)?

Don't worry about it. It doesn't say that in the article, but trust me, I've looked at the full schedule and that's when it's on. :)
