    And???????

Exactly - why do people bother posting such rubbish?.

Obviously going to save a LOT of money (not!) going to the pub to watch the football as well :p

Thats just a couple of channels though, what about the other few hundred you will miss, for a couple of quid a day, Sky is great value for entertainment.

Going to the pub a few times a week to see the footie channels will be a hell of a lot more expensive once you get something to watch other channels on, films for instance, its best to have it all in one package, at least then you know how much it will cost each month.

You may well be a lot worse off trying to get your televisual entertainment elsewhere.

4 pints a trip, going weekly, would be about £48 a month (£60 on a 5 weekend month), and that's just going on a Saturday.

It is though...I went to the pub on Sunday to watch the Liverpool game with my dad. Had Spent nearly £30 on a few pints each and some crisps/nuts. It would quickly add up over the month. And as someone else mentioned, that's just for football...what about all the other channels?

They will probably miss Sky so much that he won't be able to wait to get reconnected again.

Yeah if i was going to make a saving by going to watch the sport in the pub i'd do it but i watch live sport nearly every single day being a cricket, darts, English and Spanish football fan! Add to that Sky Atlantic, the movie channels etc its value for money and stopping me from being an alcoholic!!! ;)

Perhaps you need to like sport rather then just football to get the best from sky sports.

I like most sport even though i support no particular team (apart from Essex in Cricket) i think people like me get maximum value.

Not sure the pub will have all the same channels you had on Sky ...LOL! Watching tv down the pub not healthy !! :D and as for Netflix, form what I have seen of it, they can keep it, but then horses for courses !

Streaming Footy, is that not a bit on the dodgy side too ?

Netflix is ok until you have watched everything you like on it, I have started watching a couple of series on it but after they are done with I'd imagine I will cancel.

Bought a tablet in the USA that had NETFLIX installed when I bought it, so used / watched it whilst I was there for a couple of weeks, then when I came back to the UK off my hols, signed up here, blimey it was like chalk and cheese, the UK version nowhere near as good (well in my view ! )
