I really love Hersi's voice. Especially how she pronounces 'done' with multiple syllables. 'Done-nnn'.

I love Hersi's song, even if it does sound like she has a mouthful of Rowntree's fruit gums.

Just what I need for a Friday, ta muchly :D

I've spent most of the week listening to the official CD, has really helped me attempt to rank the songs. There are only two I really despise now - Georgia and Belgium.

Albania has grown on me so much, she sounds like Shakira a lot in places. Malta has finally clicked with me too, the little piano melody that appears during the verses is so heavenly.

Lithuania I've gone off a lot, it sounds really harsh in studio version. Not a great lover of Italy or the Netherlands either.

Biggest travesty though - why is so Moldova so low in the ranking??? It is such a great song, turn it up loud and it sounds lush.

And Portugal too, just amazing, I am trying to learn the words so I can sing along. :D

We agree on so much! :D I do like Italy and Netherlands though! Albania is really growing on me too.

Italy is now one of my favourites.

It's a really good song to drive to, too :D

Uploader says: "I made the stage by myself in Sketchup, animations you've seen here aren't the ones you'll see in Copenhagen, it's just my vision"

OK, there's about 7 hours still to vote, and quite scarily, there's a tie for the lead!

3rd place is just 6 points behind, with 4th place a further point behind - one set of votes could change the whole thing (it's like 2003 all over again)

    Still waiting for ...

    ShadyNathan
    steeleuro_wolf
    Yugimuto1
    PatheticFallacy
    NightFox_Dancer
    Jaccobabe
    Wilkimania
    yoshi94
    Chickens hit

scorewiz seems to think it's the song with the most votes that wins rather than number of douzers .. I'm gonna go with that as I have no idea how to override it!

And 2 songs still saying "It Can't Be Over"

    Playlist : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UED0wt04ofE&list=PLrujS-NCD4EpqWx2HEhd7HyHw5vknMTDI

Just to let you know it is the country with most votes that wins, its been that way since 2004.

And it's a brilliant song to go jogging to as well, for those not willing to give out CO2 emissions. :D

Oh great, Katrine Lukins pops up on my YouTube recommendations and I watch just for the Martina lols and flashbacks.. and now I have You Are The Reason stuck in my head.. It's really darn catchy, and in perhaps another universe she could have sang in tune and be headed to Copenhagen. :(

    The studio version is great!

If only there was some technical wizard that could find a way to hack the song out of Eurovision.tv's replay of the final www.eurovision.tv/page/webtv?program=96163 (Katrine dying on her arse starts at 1hr 20 :(:D)

    Am loving Russia.

1.07 to 1.25 is the best piece of music in the whole contest this year for me.

    Any other year..........

Absolutely, it's much underrated. There's a swing and a flow to the song which builds to a more than passable key change and we should finally get a live performance from them at the Russian Eurovision party in Moscow on Sunday when Mei also breaks her silence and Sanna breaks her purdah.

I don't dislike Italy or Netherlands I just can't really connect with them. There's quite a rock diva sass about Emma that I like, but her performance at the German NF was horrible. The Netherlands is just pleasant, not much I can add :D

I see you really like Slovenia, that one is growing on me. Not sure about whether being bi-lingual works for it though.

Emma's live vocals concern me after that disaster, my like for it is purely based on the studio version. I'd be all over Netherlands if they were contestants on The Voice USA, (I'd be all over Waylon too if he cut his hair - yum! :p), but I prefer too many others more, still nice enough though.

I unashamedly adore Slovenia! It's that magical flute and the music what does it, plus it helps that Hannah Mancini from last year is one of the writers, so I kind of want redemption on her behalf! :D

Quick question: will Sebalter have to whistle live on stage in Copenhagen?

I just watched his performance in Amsterdam on YouTube and he was seemingly miming the whistling part - but will it be classed as a vocal?

I Saw ths q somewhere. I thunk the answer is yes. He has to whistle live.

Just been confirmed that Michele Perniola will be the spokesperson for San Marino this year.

He was their first JESC entry last year. Perhaps he'll be Valentina's replacement, since she's confirmed she won't be back next year!

On the newest interview on the ESC YouTube page, the German entrant has also confirmed that her song is fantastic. Hardly gonna say it's crap, is she? xD!

    This is one of them.
