That is woeful. Countrywise used to do quite well on Mondays in the Corrie sandwich slot against EE - shows how much difference a slot can make. The clash with Springwatch won't have helped but that's no excuse really.

Makes me think people are heartily sick of all the Jubilee stuff already. Local supermarkets are packed to the rafters with Jubilee party mugs, plates, napkins etc on special offer. They don't seem to be shifting at all. I suspect it's all more popular down south.

2% all day share for ITV4 suggests the tennis (all 11 hours of it) did quite well yesterday. Looks like its doing good business for ITV4 even though ITV1 didnt.

Surprised really ITV aren't covering the Boat Pageant live on Sunday as well as the events during the day on Tuesday. To me that is the unique event of the weekend, not the Royal Wedding without the Wedding events of Tuesday followed by the latest in a long line of pop concerts for various events.

Probably the small matter of ITV not having rights to the events:D

You'd think given the occasion that all broadcasters would be allowed access to events.

That's a bit strange collectively more people watched Hollyoaks on E4 (&+1) as did on C4, maybe though C4 could easily replace HO with Big Bang Theory.

They will get access for news bulletins under the existing arrangements. The cost of mounting a parallel OB operation to the BBC would be huge for probably small returns in audience terms, one of the reasons ITV gave up covering the Olympics after 1988 when the BBC always hammered them in the ratings.

Really?! I don't know where you live but around here it's gone literally Jubilee mad! Bunting is up all over towns and many homes, most people are having special celebrations, and all villages and towns have got big celebrations too. Now if you'd excuse me, I've got some home made Jubilee battenburg to tuck in to...

It does seem to be a 'bigger thing' in the South of the country as where I am nobody seems to care really. There are celebrations planned for the bank holidays and I'm sure by the time it arrives people will be more enthusiastic but the build up has been non-existent really and I haven't seen a great deal of bunting etc at all.

what did ITV4s coverage of the Tour Series in Peterborough get last night?

ITV 1, might as well shut down on a Tuesday.

More so in the rural villages. Saw quite a bit of bunting in the villages in Hampshire & Surrey. Less so in the bigger towns.

Lorraine Kelly revealed a few things about Daybreak on This Morning earlier.

She confirmed Daybreak would be moving into her studio (which is the old GMTV studio anyway?) so back to the old GMTV/Lorraine style set-up.

She also said that there had been no rehearsals and that they still don't know when they will be taking over - it's still to be decided, but later in the year sometime.

Her main take on it was that saying Daybreak had had its difficulties was "putting it mildly", but she said she had "done it before", taking on GMTV after TVam, which didn't work "for a variety of reasons". She said it would be difficult but that she's going to give it a go and they just need to try and win the audience back.

Shame the BBC has climbed down to the Daily Mail brigade over sending people to major championships - using Salford for their Euro 2012 coverage.

ITV are constructing a studio in Warsaw.
