Jenny CAN NOT be in the series finale

There is a lot of talk on this forum about Jenny returning in the series 4 finale but frankly that isnt possible as TDD was set in the future whereas the finale is set in the present day and the rocket that Jenny left could ONLY travel throught space NOT time

    all she needs to do is find a dalek or a time agent and then she will have time travelling capabilities!

    Considering she was going to be be left dead (better in my eyes but anyway) I doubt she will be back soon..Without having to shoe horn her in she was never going to be in the final in the first place.
    It would be too soon for her to come back! There is no need for her to come to in my eyes for the final anyway. We already have the entire alphabet joining him in the final

    Plans change - Captain John was supposed to only be in one episode of Torchwood, James Marsters impressed them and they wrote him into the finale.

    The thing that always bugs me is that the finale for each series always hinges around elements that crop up in that specific series...

    series 1 - Bad Wolf/daleks
    series 2 - cybermen/daleks
    series 3 - the Chameleon Arch

    ..and these plot devices first pop up between episodes 5 and 8 of each series...

    which means that for the series 4 finale we may have to see Jenny, Sontarans, River or a huge wasp in the battle against the Daleks !!!

    CAPS PROVE NOTHING!;)

    RTD could easily come up with a way for Jenny to travel through time if he wants the character to appear in the finale.

    Remember, it wasn't RTD that saved her, it was Steven Moffat. So RTD didn't have her planned for his series 4 finale. If she returns it will be in series 5 or beyond.

    Perhaps, but I wouldn't put it past RTD (and Moffat) to misdirect the Doctor Who Confidential audience with that little tidbit.

    jenny does turn up, after the series finale.

    (DT turns around, jenny is standing near the tardis door)

    GM: hello dad
    DT: what? what? WHAT?

    (cuts to titles)


    this is either end of series or end of christmas special

    good for the specials next year ;)

    It might work - as the previous poster says she might be the "What? What? WHAT?" moment.
