Do you think Sam Callahan can have a successful singing career after X-Factor

Gary's comments, in particular, were very damning. I actually think he's better now than he was in the first shows but even so I certainly wouldn't pay to listen to him. He would honestly struggle to compete at a lot of karaoke competitions I've heard.
I know people talk about his teen girl fanbase. I don't know whether that's for real or not, but will they stay loyal or is the X-Factor tour (assuming he makes it) likely to be the highpoint of his career?
Having said that, I know he writes so it's not impossible that he won't right a hit tune or two. The drummer from Bros has turned out to have the most successful career of all of them, mostly due to his writing.
I don't think Sam will make it as a singer though.

Never going to happen. (But then again there was Olly Murs so what the hell do I know.)
not many , but some
Robbie Williams has always sounded to me like he is singing with his head in a bucket, but he got a £90 million advance or something stupid like that.
:gallic shrug:
Anything is possible. But on the whole I think your first paragraph is on the money.
The tech is good but not as advanced as that!
Do you think his fanbase is big enough to see him through to the final? I think that's what he'll need.
I think he will be in the top 5. his fan base can't get complacent it's week 5 and he still hasn't been in the bottom 2 so he has a fighting chance if his fan base keeps on upping their game each passing week. Relight My Fire wasn't a good choice for him. His song choice for this week is looking more promising.
I think he'll probably scrub up well and look quite handsome in a tux, so that'll help. I wonder if the tailor can help the proportion between his legs and his upper body....
I had a listen to a couple of the songs that I wasn't immediately familiar with, his being one of them, on spotify earlier and its hard to imagine someone with such a weak voice doing it after listening to the dean martin version
I keep hearing and reading people say that he needs to have the right song for him, but I don't think there is a right song for him. He's just a poor singer and there is no song that's actually going to suit his voice.
well there are some songs that they can hide his vocals a bit but don't see how they can do that with this song this week
don't , I wont get that image out of my head now , and I definitely do not want it there
Hahaha!!!
If this happened they would have to duck tape Louis Walsh's wanking hand to the judges desk so he doesn't feel like having a crafty one under the desk while watching Sam in a speedo.
There is nothing Louis won't stoop to. The man is an evil genius when it comes to harnessing the power of bad taste.

That's harsh.
Just look at One Direction. They were awful during the live show on X Factor but due to good marketing, they're the biggest band in the world at the moment!!
i agree with the right marketing and material anything is possible but his voice is just way to weak for even that imo
If he learns how to 'sing'.
