ewww Nick Grimshaw. I'm time to fleeeee!!!!
Was that fluffing of Grimmy's name intentional, or has Tel popped some Nytol and about to conk out.
Did Wogie intend to say Grimsdale instead of Grimshaw?

Didn't Wogan fluff the total a couple of minutes ago, saying 25 thousand instead of million?

Christ is Dildo still surviving on the fame given to her by Eminem?

She was already on her way to fame after her work with Faithless and her early songs being featured on the soundtracks to films and TV shows.

Eminem just gave her her mainstream breakthrough.

    gah the repeats are starting

Is it CIN for those just in from the pub?

This show should end at midnight, all this padding out till 2am in recent years is cringeworthy.

Nick Grimshaw seems to be given work regardless of popularity, his breakfast show is still haemorrhaging listeners, the BBC3 show isn't doing any great shakes either but he's still getting the work![/QUOTE]

Oh course they're gonna do better than last year. It's called inflation and an ever rising population.

They didn't in 2009, 2010, they did worse than the previous year. There have been plenty of CIN nights where they didn't do as well as the previous year, although overall the amount raised is far beyond what it was when it started.

I think it may have been a mistake.

Wogan is as bad as Bruce (but a decade younger!)

How embarrassing! I suppose because it's Tel and (almost) everyone likes him, it gets overlooked as him just being forgetful.

If he'd said 'Mr Grimsdale' in a Norman Wisdom style, it might have been better.

    Of course he did.

And if "Grimmy" knew anything about comedy he would've responded with a Norman Wisdom style "Mr. Grimsdale!!!!".

Oh it's the future "problem boyfriend" Gruff who wants to banish girls who don't want to go out with him, again.

Surely they've got enough C-List stars under BBC contract to film enough segments to last the night, without resorting to reports.

You know when BBC are trying to save money when Nick Grimshaw is wheeled out and repeats are shown.

It hasn't always been the way the total from 1991 stood as the biggest for 14 years until 2005.

Indeed, the 1990s were a pretty poor time for telethons in general, it took until 1997 before Comic Relief beat its on the night total in 1991 and ITV completely gave up on its one after 1992 saw a £9 million drop in donations.
