My favourite corrie family has got to be the barlows. they;re just a really strong family unit and provide some great comedy moments and all have great on-screen chemistry.
Favourite EE family has got to be the slaters. They were EE back from late 2000 up until 2003. Great storylines and acting and all had that sisterly bond.
Well in Eastenders the Fowlers/Beales/Watts/Slaters/Jacksons/Wicks/Brannings/Moons/Mitchells/Hills/Butchers/Cross/insertnameshere are all interrelated that it's just one big family so I like that as awhole.
Eastenders - As Scrabbler said, they are all related!
Emmerdale - The Tates of course
Hollyoaks - The Burtons (Mel/Sophie/Justin)
Liam and Tiffany Butcher have the most relatives in the Square.
The Tates
At the start - Chris, Frank, Kim and Zoe.
Present - Noah and Charity.
Best family EVER... Emmerdale is unique for having the big house and its Tate style families... something lacking at the moment. Aka boring Declan Macey.
The Burtons
At the start - Mel, Sophie, Justin and the mother.
Present - Charlie.
I loved Justin and never has a character had soo much to do minus Chrissie Watts, Clare Devine and Warren Fox! Aaron Livesy and Chas Dingle to! The twins were good towards the end and Charlie is adorable!!!!!
My favourite was the original Tilsley family in Coronation Street: Brian, Gail, Ivy, Bert, Nicky, Sarah Louise, and Audrey and Alf by extension. They felt like the most 'real' soap family to me.
I didn't like them as much when they became the Platts.
Corrie: The Tanners (60's/70's)
Crossroads: The Freemans (mid 80's)
Brookside: The Grants (early 80's)
Emmerdale Farm: The Sugdens (70's/early 80's)
Nowadays:-
EastEnders: The Moons
Corrie: The Barlows
Emmerdale: The Bartons

I felt that way about the BRANNING family until all the sensationilsm.

The Bartons

Present - Same.
Love this family... Adam Barton such a ladies man!

Victoria Sugden is the only blood left! Very dissappointing!

If only one then the McQueens.
EE the slaters, the massoods, the fowlers,
HO the mqueens, the costellos
Seriously? They were awful!
Corrie - The Barlows (especially Peter and Tracy)
Emmerdale - The Tates of course
Hollyoaks - The Burtons (Mel/Sophie/Justin)
The Corkhills, Dixons, Shadwicks, Stewarts and Timmins.
At the start - Phil and Grant.
Present - Phil, Shirley, Roxy, Amy, Ben, Jay, Lola, Billy, Janet and William.
The Mitchells seemed to be made up of relationships and Cousins.
At the start - Big Mo, Charlie, Lynne, Little Mo, Kat, Zoe and Garry.
Present - Big Mo, Kat, Tommy and Jean.
Quiet dissapointing really...
Never knew much about The Kennedys.
At the start - Tom, Carl, Jimmy, Sadie and Matthew.
Present - Jimmy, Nicola, Angelica and Carl.
They're good in a different way but they were much better when Tom was around. Carl isn't used nearly enough and is wasted.
At the start - Den, Angie, Roly and Sharon.
Present - None (Vicki, Sharon and Dennis Junior exsist).
They wouldn't be relevant without Sharon in my opinion and Vicki is a ruined character.
At the start - Ken, Ida, Frank and David.
Present - Ken, Deidre, Tracey, Amy, Peter, Leanne, Peter and the unborn twins.
The Barlows have never really rocked my boat so to speak... love Deidre though! (To the person who mentioned them above).
At the start - Martin, Sarah Louise and Gail.
Present - David and Kylie.
Always liked the family in general.
At the start - Arthur, Mark and Pauline.
Present - Extinct (Martin, Sonia and Chloe).
Why they ever let them become disticnt I will never know.
At the start - Zainab, Masood, Tamwar and Shabnam.
Present - Syed, Amira, Baby, Tamwar, Afia, Masood and Kamil.
Made a great impact and fitted in well.
At the start - Myra, Mercedes, Carmel, Michela and John Paul.
Present - Michela, Myra, Mercedes, Carmel, Bart, Teresa, Kathleen Angel and unborn baby.
Repetative but decent enough.
At the start - Carl, Heidi, Jasmine, Seth, Riley, Mitzee and Jem.
Present - Carl, Heidi, Silas, Mitzee, Seth, Jason, Riley and Seth.
Done amazingly well but need for family time rather then big indivual plots.
Axed but loved Barry!

I felt that way about the BRANNING family until all the sensationilsm.
EE's - Mitchells, Beales, Brannings
ED - Dingles
CS - Barlows
At the start - John, Moira, Adam, Hannah and Holly.
Present - Same.
Love this family... Adam Barton such a ladies man!
Victoria Sugden is the only blood left! Very dissappointing!
At the start - Alfie, Spencer and Nana Moon.
Present - Alfie, Kat, Tommy, Michael, Eddie, Tyler and Anthony, Eddies secret son.
Dennis Taner is a legend!
