    Ted (LINK)

I pretty much ignored the trailers and reviews so I went into this with no expectations whatsoever. I really enjoyed it. It had plenty of laugh out loud moments (this film is NOT for kids) and I actually cared about the freaking bear! lol. I would definitely watch this again. :)

Kick Ass 2: 10/10. Absolutely loved this. Funny, great action, easily as good as the first one in my opinion and in many ways, even better. Loved all the cultural referances, oh and it has Chris Turk as a superhero :p

Colombiano . Decent action flick . Starrring Zoe saladana . Typical popcorn movie . Not going to win any rewards and pretty silly and far fetched at times but still pretty entertaining.

    The Incredible Hulk (2008)

    6.5/10

Decent, I did enjoy it. But I wasn't massively engrossed.
Also, I cared more about the tranquilized dog at the start. Bruce just forgot about it! :o

Ip Man The FInal Fight - Not as good as the first. On a par with Ip Man 2. Disappointing final fight scene.

Man of Tai Chi - Film on a similar theme as many before it. Man gets involved in fight to the death tournament. Kickboxer for the 21st century. Been plenty of others though. Some better, some worse.

How common is it these days to have dual language movies? In this one it's mixed with a Chinese dialect and English.

Oh yeah that went down well ;). Tbh it was generic but I liked it more than I thought I would . I actually preferred it to Taken , which Luc Besson also directed.

Pedantic, I know, but Bresson was writer/producer on Taken, as he was with Colombiana and other action films. He always gets others to direct.

Made quite a niche for himself too.

    He's directed a few himself.

    Leon - Excellent
    Nikita - Very good
    The Fifth Element - Good
Joan of Arc - Decent enough

and several others - Mostly French I think.

^ Aye, true. But that period is going back a while.

Shame. He mostly threw in the towel on big, ambitious films after Joan of Arc bombed. Doubtless he coins it in as an action film maestro, but you sense talent going to waste perhaps.
