Not quite the channel it was when Sky brought us it ten years ago.

Scuzz is the only remaining ex Sky channel from the three they originally launched.

I take it Scuzz will not be celebrating their 10th birthday.

Genuine question, this isn't a dig...

Why all the fuss over the music channels on here these days, and their so-called 'demise'? As far as I can see, they've always just been chanels that play music videos. How can they possibly get worse/better? Really don't get it. They've been the same since I've had Sky (2000).

That said, well done on getting to 10!

They're bringing back old shows and playlists for the month.

I think the 'demise' is due to the fact that you used to get more than just chart music videos on some of these channels. The MTV Network in particular used to have lots of specialist music slots (all removed in 2009) and music themed programmes like Behind The Music, MTV Unplugged and artist profiles/documentary series which have pretty much all been phased out too. Ultimately there's more music channels than ever, but most of them are nothing more than chart videos.

Cheers, just spotted it on the EPG, I originally assumed they would not acknowledge their anniversary given the state of music channels these days.

Scuzz hardly gets any viewing figures these days and is at a level where channels like NME and Massvie R&B got axed.

You're repeating yourself again and the poster asked about the fuss you make about the so called demise not the ratings your beloved NME (which closed nearly 2 years ago) and Massive R&B got before they got axed. Surprised you haven't mentioned Q and the others CSC channels in this thread yet.

Scuzz has had the same ratings for about 3 years and you've predicted it's closure every month and you been wrong.

I've wondered this since I started reading these boards. Not having a dig either, it just baffles me that people could be so emotionally invested in them.

No Scuzz has dropped to 40k at some points only in the last year.

    Check BARB and see?

I guess this is the wrong forum then. Scuzz forums had thousands of members who watched the channel.

This is in no way related to my question.

Are you incapable of answering direct yet innocent queries?

Looks like the answer is yes.

    Odd indeed.
