A thousand thank you'r Mad, the piece was all I expected and more! You have captured our Lord Wagner at his best and as Odd Socks says, you have managed to walk the thin tightrope between tawdry titilation and genuine erotica. Your talents should be shared with the world beyond the confines of DS. I'm sure Wagner himself would love to see this, does he use Twitter?
I have just read from the beginning and am gripped. I have been on a rollercoaster ride and totally caught up in the tension of the lost sharpener and worrying about whether OP will get his hands on some new crayons.

WONDERFUL STUFF
I still haven't got any new crayons. Bad times.
I was scouting through the rooms today, though, and found some water paints. Only kids ones where you dip your brush in water before hand, but I'm going to give them a go tonight.
I really ought to go and get some new equipment, but I'm too lazy.

NO!!!!
Don't die with the muse trapped within you, especially for the want of a few crayons!!!!!
Absolutely love this Mad these pictures of yours are coming along nicely you are quite the artist! Naked Wagner was genius but why is his willy brown is it the only part that tanned?
Rhydian would make a fine subject I'm sure........very muscular. I'm sure Madlh would be able to capture his finer points
What a priceless thread
Indeed Rydian would I think be a fine subject.
Yes, I can see Madlh capturing his finer points but I feel as usual he would bring out the unexpected, the points that lay there in the background but did not really alight into folk's consciousness,.
Coming from the often alternative unexpected angle that many true geniuses do and with his often radical unexpected use of colour and shading, Rydian is one subject that I would love to see Madlh's perspective on.
I do think though that some further crayon investment could really only help here.

That is what a true artist does - brings me to awareness of things that are elusive if just left to me. I can see though that you need the right crayons to do that,

Agreed, the right crayons could really take the elusive to the sublime. I've had a look at Crayola's range and think these could be the tools to take Mads work to its pinnacle.
Imagine what depths could be reached if in the last picture, Wagners member was enhanced with no. 87 'Purple Mountain's Majesty' or Simons tan was carefully shaded no.62 'Mango Tango'.

Perhaps it's a toss up between No 87 and No 42 - Golden Rod.

Could you do a naked one of Mary?
OMG, I've just read this thread and was going to ask the same thing!
I'm so glad neelia has finally found this inspirational thread.
I think that it is important to have a specialism:D
Inspirational doesn't even begin to cover it. I am enriched in so many ways.

:eek::eek::eek::eek:
I think that Cheryl already uses 62 for the shows

It is the same when the real music buffs talk knowledgebly about the ins and outs of singing
Golden Rhyd perhaps?
I feel so special to have great followers with my pieces.
I will work on a picture of Mary naked next then Rhydian.
