Only one season this year?

I read that ABC have only picked up one season of DWTS this coming year, using two new reality shows for the latter half of the year instead of a winter season of DWTS? Can anyone confirm this?

    Beyond the season coming in March I haven't heard anything regarding next fall. It'd be rare to hear anything for the fall 08 season already, though some shows are so popular they get multiple year orders at a time. Things are really up in the air right now because of the writers strike so I doubt the networks are making any firm plans currently. ABC may not want to overplay the show, but I'd say they will most likely have another season next fall with it being one of the top rated shows on US tv.
