What on earth happened to Azerbaijan wanting to win
If, as presumed, Farid wins the Azeri NF, he may end up singing one of those songs at Eurovision. There are 10 new English language songs being performed in tomorrow's Final and anyone, or none, of them may be sent to Malmo. The list of titles is on this page......
If Farid wins and they go with that dreary ballad then he's not going to able to incorporate this. Surely the only reason he picked "Love is Blind" as his Eurovision song.

I haven't seen any of their selection process this year but considering that's the first time I've seen the Azeri audience do anything except sitting there looking glum like they were last year, then it can only be a positive if he's picked.
I didn't want to like it at the start as it basically is Quedaté Conmigo part 2, but seeming as Quedate Conmigo is my favourite Eurovision song it's beginning to really win me over!
How did spain not win with that song in 2012. Its one of the best songs of eurovision ever. So good! Rrgards georgia I think someone had a look at nikki and ell from 2011 and decided to rework it
Crikey, loving the dark feel of France, but really don't know how it will translate to a Eurovision stage, it's the sort of song that I love listening to but a Eurovision song?
Finally managed to watch the performances in Moldova......how atrocious is their webfeed.
Aliona was pretty much spot on. Sadly I can't say the same about Felicia or Svetty (no wonder she wore a mask, her singing was as flat as Norfolk unfortunately.:()
I'm not sure people should get too attached to Boris Covali's song Runaways, there have already been cries of plaigiarism.....

Hopefully, this new system catches Azerbaijan out this year

I quite like it. It'll probably need big staging but that's true of all Eurovision songs.

That's about the closest to the P word that I think we'll see this year ...
Macedonia are changing their song, reports say it will be 99% different, so we don't know yet .... they might have only kept the crap 1%
