He's been booked as a guest performer in the first results show tomorrow night.
Seems strange that he'd agree to perform on the daddy of all manufactured reality shows when he's taken such a vocal stance against them in the past.
Perhaps he has a price after all?

Yeah American Idol & The Voice arent as manipulated & big a joke as X Factor
Totally agree. I wish he'd crack a smile. I also cringe when I hear him sing 'What doesn't kill yaaaaaaaaaa'. Terrible
LOL at Jake Bugg and his fans having the nerve to criticise anything when he is appearing on American Idol. :kitty:
It probably isn't his thing, more his management company I would have thought.
It is also a good way of getting yourself noticed in America, plus it is a little more credible than X Factor (not a lot), Idol seems to attract better talent, but it doesn't really take that much.
Jake Bugg fan? Oh crikey.
You just stick to your Rihanna records.
The only part I would find interesting is the interview... which is him not being interesting.
Check him out, but his first album not his second one and make up your own mind, he may or may not be for you, but you wouldn't know that if you just base your decisions on what others say.
Can't they take Liam Gallagher as well....
Ooh yes, I'd be up for this
Yeah, because the Gallaghers themselves were not a tribute, cough beatles cough.
Never heard that one before. You think that one up all by yourself?
I think this has to be one of the most annoying things I see on forums.
Since you've come up with this view point could you help me understand it by pointing out which Beatles songs sound like
Rock n Roll Star
supersonic
shakermaker
Columbia
live Forever
cigarettes & alcohol
Slide Away
married with children
Basically anything they did?
Now if you'd said Slade or T-Rex you might have be on to something.
