  "Off of" as in "can't take my eyes off of you" or "Hey you, get off of my cloud".
  
  No-one says "on of" so why do some people say "off of" ?

  I was at the beach the other summer and there were a lot of 16-year-old girls on a school trip running about naked. I felt much the same way as you about this, but I restrained myself from complaining to their teacher. After all, we live in a free country.

  People/relatatives talking to me about religion, history or politics. Especially when I go abroad to the family - I'm on holiday ( well bus mans') :mad:
