For anyone who knows & doesnt want to goto the urls its a Yamaha DSP-A1092 vs Pioneer VSXC100. The Pioneer is a sleek sexy silver amp, with DTS and Prologic 2.
The Yamaha doesn't do DTS or ProLogic 2, but it has more inputs, OSD for video inputs and more outputs (notibaly 2nd sub out and 2 front or rear effects speakers)

any advise is highly wanted :-)

Go for the Pioneer. I have had this for over a year, its very good for its size. DTS makes the difference - i now look out for DTS DVD's - its amazing. I have my sky, video, ps2 and dvd plugged in - what more do you need

I have a amp at the moment with digital optical lead that I bought.
I asumed I could plug this in to the ps2 and then into my amp optical hole. I do have dts capability but sound only comes out of the front speakers. I have no trouble when I watch films the sound is excellent and always works with dts.
    Can anyone help
