We don't know for sure if there will definitely be an EP for CYL though. Was Conor's EP made available (for pre-order) prior to its release date or was it only made available on the day of release?
I thought an EP was confirmed? With the Bimbo Jones and Sonny J remixes?
Edit;
It does help Connor that he added Wiley to his single. So it's different than the cd version. There really isn't much of a difference between CYL edits.
Ahhh you beat me to it.
That's why i think its charting higher because Mr Wiley is on it.
I think it would have been great if LM followed this stratergy and had someone on the track. Who? I don't know
I still don't think they will be an EP. Syco won't miss a chance on getting more money, then the EP would have been up ages ago
Edit: I'm still 50/50 on where this is going to chart. I personally feel like there are better/stronger songs on the album that will help it. So I don't know top 20.
I suggest you take a look at Conor Maynard's most recent single. It's post-album (with the album being released in July of last year.) It was lingering in the 30s (like CYL) up until this week when the EP was made available, and it's now jumped to #4 in the midweeks. Tell me again how an official release has minimal impact?
the Graham Norton effect. If LM could get on there it would do far more than a few re-mixes. The only way the official release date is going to be of great significance is if it comes with that sort of promo
LM won't have time for TV appearances for the next month or so since they'll have their own tour to focus on, so their only promo at the moment seems to be the DOI performance (and the video premier if that counts).
The single version DOES have slightly different production than the album version as we can hear from the lyric video - someone's singing along with Leigh-Anne during her verse and Jesy's changed her ad-libs a little towards the end, but I think everything else is the same. But then again though, if they are not gonna release the EP then what's the point to make these changes for the lyric video? And there are confirmed remixes and the instrumental, which usually hint on an EP release.
I honestly heard this song for the first time on R1 when I was in a friends car last week ( I don't usually listen to R1) and I didn't even realize it was Little Mix until the DJ announced it. I wasn't very impressed with it either!
Well at least they will not release change your life the same week as the brit awards like they did with Want U Back which explains the #25 peak position of the song.

The song was climbing the iTunes Charts, #11 I think and than the Brit Awards started -_- it was dropped to like #30.
It reached #14 on itunes i remember. It could have easily gone to the top 10 because of the "Astro" version and It was reduced to 59p but then more than 10 tracks increased because of the brit awards and now everybody call it a flop -_- It was supposed to be release the week of the "one thing" (1D) release but they moved it 3 weeks away
I dont believe that they are different or good enough.
Why would they need to be "different"? They're a girl group - it's pretty much self-explanatory. And not "good enough" in comparison with what? Unless we make this any more daft and start throwing around the names of US acts, what other girl groups can even hold a candle to them in the vocal department - even if we pretend Stooshe never inflicted their horrendous cover of Watefalls upon us? And on top of that, their debut album is surprisingly strong. This just smacks of petty, mean-spirited, bandwagon-jumping 'I told you so' hogwash.
'Wings' is receiving radio adds in America on february 19.. I'm pretty sure they will be doing a radio tour around this date so I guess CYL won't receive too much promo like their previous singles..
Oh my days there are some ultra-defensive, embarrassing posters here. The OP was quite clearly unhappy at the song's charting, wanting it to do well. So all the aggression aimed at them implying they are some sort of gloater trying to be provocative is ridiculous.

They're performing on Graham Norton on Friday, I think that's their only promo (besides their DOI performance a week or two ago), I think that will boost the song into the top 20.

It's out on the 3rd not 24th.
Still, to reach top 40 after only one performance is good.

I really hope it does thanks to Graham Norton Promo and the video as its tpo good a song to miss out on top 10
