As dance music goes I think Cascada are dire (they are like comparing a Ferarri to a Ford for me)..............but their songs are instatntly memorable and have a strong beat and would be perfect for Eurovision.

I rather wish they were entering for us.

Can anybody find odds for Germany's eurovision national final? I wonder what are the chances for Cascada to win this one, because I really really want them to go to Eurovision

You can help get Cascada to Eurovision by voting for them, its easy and you can do it 9 times for each email address. Just click on the circle under their video, then click on the purple Abstimmen button, then put your email in and do the capture and tick the agreement thing, then click the purple abschicken box, then when you get the conformation emails click the link. You can do this once for each radio station or more times if you have multiple Email accounts. They have some good competition this year probably Blitzkids mtv are their biggest competition in my opinion.

The Stations are below and you have till 7pm Valentines Day

Cascada's singer is of English parentage so, if they got through and went on to win, you can imagine the press raving about a British victory! I remember one tabloid jokingly saying that a Brit won Eurovision in 2011 because the female singer in Azerbaijan's act lives in the UK.

    Congrats Cascada!!!!

It was almost a disaster result but the jury thankfully won it for them

To be fair they did top the public vote as well.

They were third with the jury, second with the radio stations and top with the public vote. Pretty convincing

She'll certainly do well in the televote. Depends on how the juries see it but they have a great chance

I reckon Cascada will win or has potential. Dance music is popular nowadays and she's known. I love the song it's good and catchy.

I saw this on this forum
”We promised you a big announcement, and here it is… We are thrilled to announce that Mika has a FULL US TOUR!! During March and April, Mika will be back on the road…”

    So maybe he isn't representing.

There's rumours it's Kimberly Walsh too but won't she be on tour ..I checked the tour dates Girls Aloud finish the tour in mid March.

Cascada aren't really my cup of tea, but since i'll listen to anything I gave it a go. For me, it's almost a carbon copy of "Euphoria" that won last year. Similar structure with the "big" chorus and slowed down verses.

    (If that made sense :))

It "might" do well, but I suspect we'll get many similar song this year as well.

The strictly producer said it's not Kimberley.

She won as she performed unlike many of the other entries. I really can't see it doing well at ESC it's far too generic.

I can't see the similarities other than them both being dance songs, there hasn't really been any Euphoria clones on offer in any of the national finals I don't think, most countries would probably go for western radio friendly songs as Euphoria was rather than straight up copies.
