I'm clearly behind the times, I didn't know people followed people they don't know on snapchat! I imagine you could get some dodgy pictures that way

If you're going to add strangers on a photo app where the whole point is that the picture supposedly can't be saved, then no I doubt it's ever going to evolve from genitalia pictures

I installed it and lasted about 24 hours.

So you get a picture message but it vanishes after about 10 seconds. Genius.

No you can screen shot someone's picture but then they know you've done it because they get an alert. You can change the number of seconds you want someone to view your video or picture from 10 downwards.

I personally love snapchat, I don't add stranger though or send dirty pics.

I use Instagram, Twitter and a light Facebook user, what does Snapchat do that these others don't? what's its selling point? I installed it but couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do so uninstalled

I don't see the point of Snapchat. My partner has it and just has family on it, they've sent some cute photos that would have been nice to keep. Why send them via Snapchat and not BBM for example, where you can keep them?
